How tall are ducks? 2022 College Football Playoff First Ranking Prediction

Over the past couple of months, we’ve spent a lot of time as members of the media and as college football fans worrying about the rankings, eager to see where the top teams stack up in the grand scheme of things. Every Sunday morning, once the week’s action is over, we wait for the USA TODAY Coaches Poll, the AP poll, and the ESPN Power Rankings to see what number is attached to our favorite team, with the hope that it will increase every week.

In the end, none of this matters. What ultimately matters is the number attached to the teams on Tuesday night when the official College Football Playoff rankings come out. These are the final rankings, and the ones that will determine which teams make the playoffs at the end of the year and who is on the outside looking in.

The first rankings for the 2022 season come out on Tuesday, November 1, and we’re going to learn a lot.

What does the Tennessee playoff committee think? Are they willing to rank a one-loss Alabama over undefeated TCU? Does the Georgia loss really lock the Ducks up in the standings despite being nearly perfect since Week 1?

As I said, we will learn a lot from these rankings. Here’s all the info you need to tune in and watch, followed by my prediction for how the rankings will look on Tuesday:
