Slafkovsky will not be available for Saturday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins as he has one game left to serve on his suspension for boarding Detroit Red Wings forward Matt Luff earlier this week.

defender Mike Matheson (abdominal muscle strain) skated with the rest of the group, but was wearing a non-contact jersey. He has not yet played this season.
