Crossing the tunnel

1st Period

Ovechkin-Kuznetsov-Protas with Gustafsson-Carlson were the start for the Capitals.

🚨 Blues 1-0. John Carlson’s turnover on the blue line. Erik Gustafsson collapses on the odd-man rush, giving Brayden Schenn plenty of space and time to hit the short side. Lindgren was upset that he missed it.

🚨 Blues 2-0. Pavel Buchenvich beats John Carlson in a round robin.

Timeout for capital letters. Peter Laviolette took off his mask to yell at the players.

Conor Sheary hit the post on the Caps’ first shift on the ice after the TO.

🚨 Blues 3-0. Torey Krug scored on a point shot on a power play after a penalty cutting the Caps. This is very bad hockey by the Caps.

The Blues have goals on three of their first six shots.
