6’ 5″, 257 lbs New Jersey native very recently suited for USF Bykov in 2019, where he recorded 32 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble, and was named a team captain his senior year.
However, Slade’s student journey did not begin with this USF. After its completion in Montclair High School, New Jerseythree-star recruit who has committed Ohio State university (NCAA, DI) and redshirted in the 2014 season before seeing his first game in 2015.
Unfortunately for Slade, an Achilles injury kept him out for the entire 2016 season, and it was after that that he decided to move to State of Arizona (NCAA, DI). Before the portal days, NCAA forced players to sit out the season after the transfer and Slade was forced to miss the 2017 season. Slade started seven games for Sun devils in 2018 and totaled 2.5 sacks.
It was in 2019 that Slade found his football college by transferring to USF. As well as a number of others ELF signed this year, Slade has been away from football for several years. However, his proven ability to play football at the highest level of college will certainly act as a counterweight to his time away from the sport.
