Dolphins’ Jaylen Waddle runs 84 yards for big Christmas TD
MIAMI — For the second week in a row, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle showed why he could be the best No. 2 pick in the NFL. Waddle caught the quarterback’s pass Tua Tagovailoa 84 meters to go For the Dolphins’ longest game of the season.

His 69-yard catch was the most for any player this season and the most by a Dolphins player since 2016, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. Waddle entered the game with the eighth most receiving yards in the NFL.
Tagovailoa tied the franchise record for the fifth touchdown pass of at least 50 yards in the game, tying Dan Marino and Bob Griese. He has thrown at least a 60-yard touchdown in the Dolphins’ last four games. Miami also leads the league in touchdowns after completing just one last season.
The aerial display continued in the second quarter when Tagovailoa found a wide receiver Tyreek Hill for one Completion of 52 meters He set up a 1-yard touchdown run Jeff Wilson Jr. in the next play. The reception set a single-season career high for Hill and the franchise single-season record with 112.
