Josh Jacobs leaves after Raiders loss to Steelers ‘I’m tired of dealing with this’

There is a lot to be frustrated about for the Raiders players right now. They saw another first-half score slip away. But even in times like these, you rarely hear players venting their frustrations the way Josh Jacobs did after the game.

And everything he said was justified.

The defense helped the Raiders hold the Steelers to three points the entire game and held a one-point lead until the final minute. No doubt they did their part to get the win.

It was the offense that scored three points after the opening TD drive and zero points in the second half. Derek Carr throwing three interceptions didn’t help either.

Carr probably didn’t put it in the air as much as he should have. The Steelers were stopping the run, it’s true. But he gave Jacobs only 15 carries, seven of which came in the second half. Carr, on the other hand, threw two more passes (30). This is not how you expect a game in 14 degree weather.

This statement sounded like a greeting. Jacobs is the NFL’s leading rusher and is headed to free agency this offseason after the Raiders didn’t pick up his option. He literally said he’s tired of dealing with the same issue he’s dealt with his entire career with the Raiders.

It’s a shame, really. But can you blame him?
