Kiké Hernandez of the Red Sox delivers a hilarious classic winter weather report

Red Sox nation knows it how much treasure Kiké Hernandez is, and Bruins fans got a taste of it on Monday.

Boston’s midfielder it was at Fenway Park not for baseball but for the 2023 NHL Winter Classic. The Black and Gold face the Pittsburgh Penguinsbut before the puck dropped at 2 pm ET, “Kiké the Weatherman” provided a weather report.

“As you can see here, we are in Boston. This dark cloud you see here, don’t worry. Do not care. We have a 0% chance of precipitation. We have some snow on the ground, but we’ll talk about that later. As you can see, there is a high of 49 and a low of 32. It is about 60 degrees warmer than last year. It might be good for you, but it’s still very cold for a kid in Puerto Rico.”

Going out to a different part of the park, Hernández continued: “Here we continue with the weather report. As you can see, there is a lot of snow on the ground. Hopefully, this snow will allow us to get into the game. The perfect weather for the bear, the grizzly bear. I don’t know if it’s a grizzly bear. We don’t have bears in Puerto Rico. But here we have some penguins. We brought them from Alaska. So here we are. We exported the penguins as they exported me. As you can see, there is snow on the ground. It’s a beautiful day in Boston. Puck drop.”

Red Sox and Bruins fans can agree that Hernandez knows what his next profession will be after his Major League Baseball career.
