No, Clipper Darrell not on course to become Celtic Darrell after being punched in a game earlier this month… LA superfan says TMZ Sports he’s still in love with the Clippers, even if he’s still suffering from the coup de grace.
We broke the story… iconic NBA fan – real name Darrell Bailey – knocked unconscious after Crypto.com Arena security guard put a sock on his face after an altercation at the Clippers’ game against Boston on Dec. 12.

Darrell told us at the time that he was left in a lot of pain and actually had to be taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Many wondered if the situation might hurt their feelings Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the rest of the guys on the hardwood, but the 55-year-old told us this week that he’s not going anywhere … even though the experience he had with the arena staff was traumatic.
“I look forward to returning to Crypto.com Arena to root for my 2023 NBA Championship Clippers!” he said “Let’s go Clippers Let’s go!!!”

Darrell added that he is still suffering from the punch, saying he continues to receive medical attention for his ailments. But, he seemed to be in a better mood.
“What happened that night was a complete shock and left me heartbroken,” she said. “I am still dealing with the emotional and physical consequences of being assaulted and knocked unconscious by the AEG security guard. I would like to thank the fans, athletes, the Clippers organization and AEG for their love and support and for to have communicated with me to check on my health and well-being.”
“I would ask that my privacy be respected while I continue to receive treatment for my injuries.”
