Georgia vs. TCU Score: Live Updates, 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship Game Coverage

LOS ANGELES – No. 1 Georgia continues to score in a stunning blowout in the College Football Playoff National Championship. The Dawgs lead 52-7 entering the fourth quarter, and the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs have now been held scoreless over the last two quarters.

Georgia State quarterback Stetson Bennett IV is coming off a title game performance with 304 yards and six touchdowns (four passing, two rushing) as the former Heisman Trophy finalist is en route to earning MVP honors in what was a key victory in his well-known career. Georgia’s defense also continued to be relentless.

The Dawgs already tied the CFP National Championship record with 52 points scored, matching the mark set by Alabama in a late 2020 win over Ohio State. Bennett also tied Joe Burr’s CFP National Championship record for most points scored with 36. Also, the current lead of 45 points is the largest in a national championship game since USC won 55-10 in the 2005 Orange Bowl.
