Giants’ Julian Love says Eagles’ Nick Sirianni is getting ‘free ride’ to Super Bowl: Anyone ‘could coach this team’

“He’s a guy that’s really doing a great job because he doesn’t get in his team’s way,” Love said. “He has an experienced roster from top to bottom — offense, defense.”

Asked for his thoughts on Sirianni’s celebratory head nod in the Giants’ playoff loss, Love went from tepid praise to full-on criticism.

“I don’t like it,” he said. “I don’t like him at all. I mean, he’s taking a free ride right now. You guys can coach this team.”

Love he doubled down on his comments then tweeting, “Philly fans don’t like this…but I’m not wrong.” He added that “Philly has the dogs all the way down the list,” adding that “it’s no mystery why they’re ranked.” So it’s not like he’s ready to give the Eagles credit; he doesn’t want to accept Sirianni’s staff as Philly went 25-12 25-12 in two seasons, including the playoffs.

Eagles defensive end Brandon GrahamPhilly’s longest-serving player, he was asked about Love’s comments later Thursday and dismissed them.

“You know what, people always have something to say when [they’re] at home when they have some things to think about,” Graham he told reporters. “At the end of the day, it definitely doesn’t hold weight because the coach proves himself every day. And if you’re not here, you really wouldn’t know that. So it’s a lip service.”
