A talented tall man died at the age of 22

Sad news came from across the Atlantic – the death of a young and talented midfielder Jalen Hill.

The 22-year-old, 208 cm tall athlete was reported missing in Costa Rica and his death was officially announced on Tuesday. The cause of death has not been announced, but his father shared a sensitive message on social networks.

“We are heartbroken to inform our friends and family of the passing of our beloved son, Jalen.

Jalen went missing in Costa Rica and we recently learned of his death. We understand that many have questions, but we cannot share details at this time.

We know that Jalen was an important part of many people’s lives. We understand that many were important to him as well. As we try to get through this difficult time, please allow us time to mourn,” George Hill, the late father, wrote on behalf of the entire family.

An NBA prospect, Hill graduated as a four-star athlete and joined the UCLA Bruins.

The tall man’s career started with an unpleasant incident – he was arrested for theft in China together with LiAngelo Ball and missed the entire debut season.

J. Hill later straightened up and became an important part of the team in the 2019-2020 season – 24 minutes, 9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. In 2021, he unexpectedly ended his basketball career, citing psychological problems.
