Yesterday, in the Premier League match between Chelsea and Tottenham, a coaching conflict took place, the likes of which the fans of this league have not seen for a long time. A confrontation reminiscent of Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho took place between Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte.
The coaches quarreled after Tottenham’s first equalizing goal – 1:1. Then the conflict did not last long, and the members of the team’s coaching staff and reserves calmed down the passions.
During the added time, the “pentines” once again equalized the result – 2:2. Soon after the final whistle, the team managers shook hands, but Tuchel was outraged that Conte did not look him in the eye.

The German grabbed the Italian’s hand harder, and the latter was duly surprised. The brim of Tuchel’s hat touched Conte’s head and the conflict broke out. However, no physical action was taken.
After the game, the Chelsea tactician said: “When you shake hands, you have to look each other in the eye. Antonio had a different opinion.”

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte shared the following message on his Instagram account: “You’re lucky I didn’t see you. If I had knocked you down, it would have been totally deserved.
The Italian was referring to Thomas Tuchel’s spectacular celebration for the Aristocrats’ second goal. Both men were shown red cards after the second clash.
…red card on the pitch but still valid on social media.
