The offseason of the National Basketball Association (NBA) is extremely quiet this year, but there is no shortage of brewing intrigue.
The changing Utah Jazz club has already traded Rudy Gobert, another leader can’t be calm about his place either Donovan Mitchell. He is linked with a move to the Eastern Conference.
After several weeks of no conversations, the Knicks and Jazz recently re-engaged in trade talks centered on Donovan Mitchell, sources tell me and @Tjonesonthenba.

The New York Knicks were interested in a possible trade for the guard at the beginning of the summer, and reporter Shams Charania reports that those talks have recently been renewed.
The 25-year-old, 185 cm tall defender made his NBA debut in 2017 and so far has defended the honor of only one team, interspersed among the leaders of the Utah team already in the first season.
Last season, D. Mitchell collected 25.9 points (36 percent of three-pointers), 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals and 5.3 assists in 34 minutes in the NBA.
The Knicks aren’t going through the best of times. In the last nine seasons, the NBA’s most expensive club has made the playoffs only once, and last season they won 37, lost 45 and were eliminated again.
