Russian construction workers reportedly killed in Berdiansk

It is reported that this woman headed the local “referendum” election commission. This was reported by Interfax, citing a statement from the local government.

According to the representative of the occupation administration, Vladimir Rogov, O. Boik and his wife were killed near the garage of their house.

Earlier it was reported that the chief prosecutor of the separatist administration and his deputy were killed in an explosion in the Russian-controlled Ukrainian city of Luhansk on Friday, Russian-imposed authorities said.

This is the latest in a series of targeted attacks against pro-Russian officials in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

“Today, Prosecutor General Sergei Gorenka and his deputy Yekaterina Steglenko were killed in a terrorist attack,” the press service of the leader of the separatist-proclaimed Luhansk “people’s republic” Leonid Pasečnik reported on the Telegram platform.

L. Pasečnik said that the attack on the prosecutor’s office “showed that the Kyiv regime crossed all possible limits.”

There were also reports of increased firing on the southern Kherson front, where Ukrainian troops have made gains in recent days.

Vladimir Rogov, a Moscow-appointed official in Kherson, accused the Ukrainian military of striking the city’s administrative building, killing one person and injuring another.

Together, the Donetsk and neighboring Luhansk regions form the industrial Donbass region in eastern Ukraine.

Since 2014, this region has been partially controlled by pro-Russian forces that established themselves after Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula belonging to Ukraine.

The attack launched by Moscow this year is partly justified by the need to protect both “republics”.
