V. Micic’s injury did not prevent the Serbians from breaking the Greeks led by G. Antetokounmpo during overtime

Meanwhile, Kostas Antetokounmpo was injured in the ranks of the Greeks – he was also forced to leave the field with a limp in the second half.

In 11 minutes, the Greek scored 6 points (3/3 doubles), intercepted 2 and rebounded the ball, blocked an opponent’s shot once, fouled once and collected 10 utility points.

For the winners, Nikola Jokic scored 29 points (8 rebounds, 28 assists), Ognjen Jaramaz added 15 (3/4 threes), Vladimir Lucic – 14, Nikola Milutinov – 12.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the losers with 40 points (14/25 shooting, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 37 assists), Tyler Dorsey added 16 (4/10 treys), Thanasis Antetokounmpo – 12 (16 points of use).

At the European Championship, the Serbians will play in Group D with Israel, the Czech Republic, Finland, Poland and the Netherlands.

The Greeks will meet the Italians, Croatians, British, Ukrainians and Estonians in Group C.
